From a young age, I was captivated by the intricate nature of skin and the profound impact it has on people’s lives. Witnessing the transformative power of dermatological care to restore confidence and well-being fueled my passion for pursuing a career in dermatology. I was inspired by the opportunity to blend art and science in a way that uplifts individuals, instilling in me a deep sense of purpose to provide accessible and exceptional skincare to everyone, regardless of their background or location.
Such an incredible achievement to hold licenses in all 50 states. How have you inspired the world of telederm and been able to excel in the industry?
I am humbled by the opportunity to make a difference in the field of teledermatology. By harnessing technology and innovation, I have been able to break barriers and transcend geographical constraints to bring expert dermatological care to individuals across the nation. Through Indigenous Dermatology and my telemedicine practice, I aim to set new standards for patient care, emphasizing accessibility without compromising quality. My journey in teledermatology has been driven by a relentless commitment to excellence and a fervent advocacy for healthcare equality, ensuring that every individual receives the care they deserve, regardless of their location.
What inspired you to open your first brick-and-mortar clinic?
The establishment of Miami Derm represents a pivotal moment in my career, born out of a deep-rooted desire to redefine skincare accessibility and excellence. My passion for delivering exceptional care with compassion led me to create a physical space in my hometown where patients could receive personalized solutions that nurture beautiful, healthy skin from the inside out.
