In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Turlington Burns reflected on her illustrious career, from the chaos of fashion shows to her enduring beauty. “The SHOWS always felt a little like CHAOS,” she admitted, but she never felt “EMBARRASSED about anything.” Her serene and grounded nature, which she attributes to her mother’s influence, allowed her to navigate the industry with grace and resilience.Turlington Burns’s beauty has been praised by her peers, with fellow supermodel Cindy Crawford describing her as “the most classic beauty” who would be considered beautiful in any century. 

This timeless quality is evident in her numerous campaigns for Calvin Klein’s Eternity fragrance, which spanned over three decades.While Turlington Burns could still be dominating the fashion world, she has chosen to focus her efforts on her nonprofit organization, Every Mother Counts. Founded in 2010, the organization is dedicated to making pregnancy and childbirth safer for women around the globe.

Turlington Burns’s passion for maternal health was ignited after experiencing complications during the birth of her daughter, Grace.

In addition to her philanthropic work, Turlington Burns has also pursued other creative outlets. She directed the documentary “No Woman, No Cry,” which debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival, and she recently qualified for the Boston Marathon at the London Marathon, finishing the race just a few weeks ago.

Despite her many accomplishments, Turlington Burns remains humble and grounded.
