A New Beginning

In 2011, Savita Kaye’s life took a dramatic turn. After 14 years in corporate banking and becoming a single parent, she felt a change was imminent. Her journey into the fashion world began as a journalist, covering fashion and music events, and highlighting emerging trends and artists. This passion led to the launch of House of iKons in September 2014, marking the beginning of a transformative journey.

House of iKons was established in London with a clear mission: to provide a global platform for emerging designers and creatives. Within the first 12 months, Savita expanded her shows to LA, Beijing, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai. This year, House of iKons celebrates its Ten Year Anniversary in London, a testament to its success and global impact.

Bridging the Gap

As a journalist, Savita noticed the lack of support for emerging brands. She realized that many talented designers needed just one opportunity to reach a global audience. Driven by this insight, she made it her mission to bridge this gap, offering these designers the platform and exposure they needed to succeed.

A Unique Approach

What makes House of iKons unique is its heartfelt approach. Savita and her team build, mentor, and support designers before, during, and after each fashion show. This support extends to securing features in top publications like Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Elle, and Vanity Fair. They’ve also helped designers dress A-list celebrities for red carpet events and connected them with buyers and department stores worldwide.

One notable success is Tykorchélli, who dressed Miss Universe 2023, Sheynnis Palacios, at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2024. This brand launched on the House of iKons platform in February 2024 and will showcase a million-dollar collection at the Ten Year Anniversary show this September.

Motivated by Impact

Savita’s greatest motivation is turning the brands selected for her shows into profitable businesses with global reach. She is driven by the desire to see her designers succeed on the world stage.
